Youth Program
This comprehensive course is designed to introduce young participants—typically ages 10 to 17—to the fundamentals of safe and responsible firearm use. The program begins with a strong emphasis on firearm safety, including the Four Rules of Gun Safety, proper storage, range etiquette, and understanding the function of different types of firearms.
Instruction is age-appropriate, hands-on, and focused on building a strong foundation in marksmanship. Students learn proper stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, and safe loading and unloading procedures using .22 caliber rifles and pistols under direct supervision.
The course also covers:
Range Safety & Commands: Students learn how to follow range protocols and communicate effectively while shooting.
Safe Handling Drills: Repetitive dry-fire and live-fire exercises to instill safe habits.
Responsibility & Ethics: Lessons on the importance of respect, discipline, and the moral responsibilities of firearm ownership.
Situational Awareness: Age-appropriate discussion of real-world safety scenarios, both at home and in public.
All training is conducted in a controlled, supportive environment by certified instructors who specialize in youth education. Parents are encouraged to participate or observe, fostering family involvement in safe firearms practices. Upon completion, students receive a certificate of achievement and the skills to continue growing as responsible shooters.
